Run Through History at Scadbury Park

Join the British Landmark Series for the Scadbury Park 10K, a scenic woodland running event set within one of southeast London’s most historic and beautiful nature reserves.

Located in Chislehurst, Scadbury Park offers a wonderful combination of ancient woodland, winding trails, open grassland and fascinating local history, providing an attractive setting for a winter 10K.

Once part of the historic Scadbury Estate, the park is home to the remains of Scadbury Manor, a medieval moated manor house associated with the influential Walsingham family. Today, the surrounding landscape is a peaceful nature reserve, rich in wildlife and natural beauty.

The Route

The proposed 10K course will take runners through the woodland paths and established trails of Scadbury Park, showcasing the varied landscape of this historic estate.

Expect a mixture of tree-lined woodland trails, natural pathways, gentle undulations and picturesque sections of open countryside.

With its winding trails and natural terrain, this is an event to enjoy the scenery
